No creció a la sombra de su hermano, Bjorn Ironside, ni de su madre, Lagertha, mucho menos de su padre, Ragnar. Supo ganarse su sitio. Atrás quedó la vida de granjeros de sus padres, el matrimonio de sus padres, pues Ragnar tiene una nueva mujer y pronto vendrán más hijos al mundo.
Lo aceptó, pues es la voluntad de los dioses. Ahora Eyra acompaña a su madre en cada decisión que toma, lamentablemente, ser hija de Ragnar tenía sus desventajas, cualquier persona que pasase por la ciudad tiene un solo propósito: desposar a la hija de Ragnar Lothbrok.
