Summary
He had always heard that the place beyond death was a place beyond time, but he had never imagined it quite like this. A world eternally stuck at the moment of his death.
“The final moment of your death, you mean." The shadow said, "You were doomed to die the moment you ingested poison. That was really the moment of your death.”
To Apollo, that seemed needlessly pedantic.
