Buggy knew things were getting out of hand from the first time Mihawk and Crocodile had him down on the ground, binding his chest with seastone ropes to keep him from splitting away. He knew he was damned the first time he'd kissed Mihawk's woman; he knew he was certainly dead the minute he'd got tangled in their toxic affairs, both of them being attracted to him and using the clown to make each other angry and jealous.
Now that things had escalated so far, Buggy knew he was far beyond the point of no return. Paying Mihawk back from disrespecting him could only end in violence. Crocodile was there to watch, laughing in his low, drawling voice. To his surprise, Mihawk was more tender than he'd initially believed.
