Summary
Feeling as though his family doesn’t love him anymore, or even hates him, after everything he’s done, August runs away and plans to kill himself. Cassie sees him sitting on the edge of a bridge and talks him down. She takes him to her place and convinces him to stay with her for a few days (or more) while he gets his mental health in a better place. August is happy for the help, but will he have the strength to confront his family about what happened?
