Charlotte was the only one out of everyone else who had the misfortune of encountering Vendetta that didn’t fear her. Being powerful wasn’t enough for Vendetta, she needed everyone to fear her. She needed everyone to understand just what she was capable of doing. Charlotte’s happiness angered her. Vendetta felt like she wasn’t being taken seriously by her in the slightest.
