Summary
A band of vermin leaves their horde to find a better life in the south of Mossflower. They eventually make it to Redwall Abbey where they attempt to make peace with the woodlanders to survive the winter. Both woodlanders and vermin despise working with each other but with the desperation of winter and a common enemy can they find a way to live in the shadow of their enemy?

A crew of slaving pirates, a band of rogue vermin, and a force of Long Patrol and their allies are marooned on an undiscovered continent, and must use every advantage they have to survive and find a way home. (Takes place well after Rogue Crew, where Mossflower is at 17th Century level technology)
