Suffering from nightmares wasn't unusual for Maria, she was often plagued by them, especially ever since she came under Hykros employ once more. They just kept getting worse and they were always the same.
She wanted the nightmares to end but had no way of knowing how to stop them.
Since the near transformation, things had even been more difficult for her.
When she goes outside for some fresh air, Maria isn't alone and Ming follows as he offers her his shoulder to lean on, offers comfort to her through the turmoil within.
After all, as one who has also forgotten their past, he was the best comfort for her.
