Summary
Ashley has been falling down the rabbit hole for a long time.
She thinks of it like she’s Alice in Wonderland, though the place she goes to is far from a wonderland. The neon desert looks like paradise on the outside, but it’s a facade. The Badlands are all about control, about captivity, and anything that doesn’t fit that image is swiftly eliminated. Waking up is strictly forbidden.
Ashley has never been good at staying asleep.(aka: a one-shot companion to Put My Cares to Rest in which Halsey goes between dimensions, just like Tyler)
