Summary
The “earthquake” took so many people, leaving their loved ones lost. A wave of suicides swept through Hawkins due to a collective diagnosis of survivor's guilt.
A group of nurses banned together, looking for a way to help when they came up with an idea.
One of the nurses suggested a hotline might help, but they had problems trying to figure out who would run it. They didn’t have time, and the government didn’t give them too much emergency funding.
It was then one nurse suggested a group of young adults she knew who might be able to handle it.
And thus, the Sacred Heart Suicide Hotline was born.
