Summary
Forunata is not killed by Lady Amber, instead goes back to Kotir with Patchcoat. Riverwyte, the Mask, is struggling with keeping his personas straight and craving a moment of selfishness after the prisoners are rescued and his brother forgets he is still in Kotir as Patchcoat.
Fortunata knows Tsarmina's favor is slipping, and latches on to Patchcoat.
Mask is grateful for a reason to be selfish.
