Summary
The Weeping Angel laid there, in his own tears- it all turned to mush inside him, because nothing matters compared to misery. How do you bargain for joy with a mirror image of you, standing in the mirror? You- but with hollow, sunken eyes that echo back not a shred of content? You, and only you, because in that moment where you drown in your own tears, you are alone. It is you, against you. All's fair in love and war, but this was no war. This was a display of self mutilation via isolation, a man drowning but holding his mouth shut because he fears not the water seeping through his lips but rather that he might accidentally yell for help.
