Summary
This is a Darkling x Reader fic.
A first person POV, placing you as the Sun Summoner. Starting just before your arrival to Os Alta, this story is (book) canon adjacent, though you are NOT Alina. Rather, Alina and Mal are your friends, and have to stand by as you are whisked away by the Darkling.
I am trying to write entirely new scenes and events that take place in the Little Palace, so it doesn't just feel like you're reading S&B all over again. Rather this is how events would play out if you and the Darkling were almost equal, power came easily, and you may just grow stronger than ever thought possible.
Sort of slow burn, but with lots of yearning, flirting, and close encounters throughout.
