A few days ago, Bive had awkwardly tried to explain the way she felt towards Split, the banana fruittaur listening intently, blushing. Bive’s words were “When I spend time with you it feels like… like… I can just tell you about all my theories and conspiracies and maybe you won’t judge me and I feel happy and…” Split had shook her head, shushing Bive after realising how difficult the other found it to put her feelings of affection into proper words.
“Is this your attempt at a confession? It’s okay, because I’m bananas for you too!” Split beamed, unsure if Bive would be okay if she went in for a hug. But she didn’t need to worry, because the black hairball quickly hugged Split, burying her furry face in Split’s sweater. Split was surprised for a second, before blushing and hugging Bive back.
