Summary
It starts during the Empath episode of Star Trek TOS.
Spock is forced to realize some things he's been trying to deny while looking at the Empath who shows him how much he cares about Kirk's well being. He also thinks back of some moments of his life.
It leads to Spock promising himself to say to Kirk how he truly feels if they get out of this both safe and sound. But when the times comes, will he be up to the task?
