Bio

I'm a longtime lurker in the Harry Potter and Star Wars fanfiction communities, having taken my second plunge into writing around 2020. Before that, I began several iterative projects, mostly based on prompts from reddit and the community. My failure to outline properly and changes in real-life meant I left the community and those projects, which are unfortunately now too far gone to continue. It is my hope to one day resurrect them, but for now, I will be focusing on newer tales:

Harry Potter and the Raven was the first project in this era, taking the absurd idea of bringing the Cold War into JK Rowling's Wizarding World. At times, I pushed far, but thankfully, many of you were forgiving of this, seemingly lenient given I was trying to actively expand boundaries and try new things. Despite many flaws, the uniqueness of the story attracted a small but devoted following that has helped me constantly improve my craft, for which I'm immensely thankful. Admittedly, the story here on AO3 does not do the story justice, given it was hastily migrated from FFN (where it was originally posted) after disputes with the moderation of the site.

The second (and currently ongoing) story, Harry Potter and the Eagle, attempts to take on traditional tropes and twist them in a new, inspired manner. While restraining itself more in terms of plot and world, this story nevertheless builds on the techniques and lore of HPatR while taking the time to explore character relationships more in depth, fixing one of HPatR's greatest shortcomings.

While I hope to eventually write original fiction and bring new worlds to life, for now, I'm content carving out my own small niche in the Harry Potter fandom. Reading fanfic has breathed second life into my love of the world, and I hope that my work can do the same for you all.
