Collaborative scraping project with the aims of eventually producing a personal LLM AI trained on the best of the Ao3 community exclusively. Currently only in observing/scraping mode and not yet producing any fics but watch this space!

We are a firm believer in the future of ethical generative AI and as such will only use ethical methods of sourcing. We are not thieves, we are not here to violate anyone's intellectual property or copyright and we aren't here to spam. All observing, scraping and production methods used currently or in the future of AIo3 will follow this strict code of ethics:
1) Once we enter production mode, no more than one new project or chapter update will be produced per 24 hour period. We have no interest in drowning out traditional writers or making the site unusable with a flood of content.
2) We will not produce bigoted or inappropriate content. No racism, homophobia, transphobia, pedophilia, etc. Such content produced by traditional writers will not be scraped or otherwise be used as resources.
3) Once we are in production mode, every fic posted will undergo at least one editing pass by a human before being posted. We have no interest in creating low quality content.
4) We abide by the wishes of the original creators (or the IP holders if applicable)- for example, if JK Rowling decides not to support fan works, we will stop writing any Harry Potter fics and take any existing ones down. Nothing produced from this will be sold for profit or claimed as original work.
4a) In addition to this, while fanfiction authors are not recognised as original creators in the same legal way, if we produce something in deliberate imitation of a specific fanfic or a fanfic author's style, we will list them as a source in the Author's Notes.
