Just fyi, some of my works are archive-locked, meaning you can only see them if you're logged in to your ao3 account.
Also, because I repeatedly see the works of my fellow writers stolen and "converted" - which is nothing but plagiarism, I say this in all caps:
DON'T COPY ANY OF MY WORKS TO ANOTHER SITE! (NO, NOT EVEN WITH A LINK TO MY ACCOUNT HERE.)
DO NOT REPOST ANY OF MY WORKS! (NO, NOT EVEN WITH DIFFERENT CHARACTERS OR PAIRINGS.)
JUST. DON'T.
I ALSO EXPLICITLY FORBID ANYONE TO FEED MY FICS TO AI.
If you copy or repost stories that don't belong to you, you're stealing someone's intellectual property. I don't know why some people think that's ok in fanfic. You wouldn't do that shit with published books or songs (because you'd had a lawsuit on your hand), so don't do it with fanfiction either.
Respect fic writers who let you read their stories for free. Seriously, apart from the legal issues, just have some basic common decency. It's the rare minimum to NOT STEAL THEIR WORK.
FANFICS ARE THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OF THE FIC WRITER AND ARE PROTECTED AS SUCH. STEALING THEM IS COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT.
COPYING A WHOLE STORY WORD FOR WORD DOESN'T FALL UNDER FAIR USE, NO MATTER IF YOU MAKE MONEY WITH IT OR NOT. (There have to be several conditions met to qualify for fair use, and not making profit is just one of these conditions but not the only one.)
