I'm an almost twenty-year-old college student with an extremely active imagination. I write poems, novels, and the occasional short story for the sheer enjoyment of it. I haven't actually completed any of my novels however... I hope to one day be published, but I have no idea how long that will take. It probably won't happen until I'm out of college, at least. With writing, like everything else I do, I'm a perfectionist. I don't like showing/posting anything that I feel is not EXACTLY how I want it to be. I am also constantly looking for ways to improve. So, if you see anything in my postings (that are nonexistent at this point) that I can fix, please tell me so I can do so. I know enough about writing to recognize quality when I see it, but analyzing my own work is still a bit tricky. I am a highly critical reader, and it's always easier for me to spot and point out errors than it is for me to say exactly what I like about a certain story.
When I'm not writing or working on homework, I am usually at the barn riding my horse. She's an eight-year-old Quarter Horse mare and I love her to death. Though I didn't get her until I was fifteen, I've been riding and working with horses ever since I was nine. Horseback riding is my favorite hobby, with creative writing coming in at a close second. I also paint as well as draw. I'm not a superb artist or anything like that, but I do enjoy it.
