Bio

I'm new to writing. I'm more of a reader than I am a writer but sometimes there are stories or ideas that my mind can't turn off so I end up writing it and might as well share, am I right?

What I like to read:
Slow burns
Explicit works (I'm no prude and crude language and violence is an aspect of life that isn't worth censoring)
Romance
Drama
Slice of life
Alternate Universes

What I don't like:
Cross-overs (UNLESS it fits well. I happen to think My Hero Academia and One-Punch Man would be excellent)
"Mad House" fics as in...nonsense, anything goes, no rhyme or rhythm, chaos with no real plot. AKA Crack-fics.
"SI". It's not so much as the writing itself. It's the name. Self-insert implies that you are placing yourself into the story, the narrative. I get that. But I just prefer first person POV over the word Self-insert.
Second-person POV...it can be done well...but what I'm seeing on here isn't and if they are decent, it's few and far between.

I can be picky about is keeping characters in character; but I understand that it can be hard to write them for a certain genre when their dimension is so against it. I'm also a tiny grammar nazi but I'm letting it slide because realistically I won't know if the writer is proficient in English or not. So I'm trying to be less of an ass about that.

At the end of the day all works published are fiction; let it be a place to dream up the impossible, improbable, and impractical. If you like something, good. If you don't, don't read it.
