Bio

Not the greatest title but I was stuck. I'm a transplanted Minnesotan living in NJ. Well, I no longer work for John Wiley (College Publishing in Finance, I'm not great with my own money but I did great at work.). Apparently that wasn't enough to stop me from being laid off, which sucks so much. I'm studying Medical Coding and Billing, trying not to wallow because I'm starting over.
I have a BA in Film Studies and a MA in Media Studies Sound Design.
I'm probably one of the quietest Leo's around yet people say that I definitely am a Leo, with all the annoying qualities at time, though I try to be better. I like snark, and people making an effort to think and learn.
Favorite things (not all though): Radiohead, NIN, Steve Reich, Bach, Doctor Who (been watching since I was a kid), reading a lot (I'm a bookaholic), playing my guitar, my piano, films (as long as they have a modicum of good writing and acting, and aren't just plain crap. I don't care if its America's number 1 whatever if I don't like it, I won't be watching it. This applies to many things, like TV, music, etc.), I like some sports (I hate football and can only barely stand golf, and I refuse to pretend otherwise but I do like sports), and being an all around nice person when I'm not being a pain.
I want to do little experimental film and docs based around sound and feeling. I help my friends with the sound on their projects. I looking for a PT job as a TA because I enjoy talking with people and just learning new stuff. I don't know what else to say except that this is sorta me, but there is more than that, but how do you say all you are in just a little box? Oh, I nearly forgot, I look like a chubbier mixed version of Olivia de Haviland or so my gay friends have told me. I talk to myself at times, hey I was a shy kid and a nerd growing up, what do I mean, I'm a complete nerd even now. So there you go.
