So, I recently joined AO3 and have no idea how to begin. Let's just wing it, shall we?

I am known on Fanfiction.Net as JackOfCats, so if any of the stuff here feels familiar to FF net readers, that's because it is!
Why I didn't just stick with the same username on both sites? Well... I assume it is just easier to keep both accounts straight in my own head this way.
I will be crossposting stories from both the sites, though, and if you have any requests or prompts- feel free to drop a comment, or preferably PM me if you can. I don't mind either way, but it is easier to notice PMs.

Why I joined two sites? Well- for the stories, of course! I am a voracious reader, and found my stock diminishing at an alarmingly fast rate. This, dear friend, was extremely concerning. SOMETHING needed to be done.
The answer? Archive Of Our Own- with an entire new batch of fanfiction to sort through! Honestly, I had read most, if not all, of the Sherlock Holmes and Star Trek fanfiction on FF, along with quite a few other fandoms, and came to see what Ao3 has to offer.
Also, check out my friend JanusCat24, who might have introduced me to the site over a cup of truly-amazing cafe mocha on a truly-rare random day out with friends.

Personal Description & Motto- I know I am a teenage girl who has never heard of proofreading. Let's try not to make that too obvious, shall we? :)

Also, I'm pretty sure I'm aroace- thought I should mention that. I hope it doesn't affect my writing, lol.
But now that we've got all the basics down... it's time to begin!
