Imaginative introvert and Tolkien fan. Long-term fanfic reader, short-term AO3 subscriber, mostly because I eschew the toxicity of social media, and I’ve seen “mean girls” cliques even here.
I finally decided to get an AO3 account to help support a good friend who has received abuse from one of those cliques. I wasn’t cruel to other kids when I was young; I usually stuck up for the kids who were getting picked on. So I got an AO3 account in solidarity with my friend, despite my dislike of any sort of public or semi-public interaction.
If you’re bothering with looking at my profile, you probably already know what I’m talking about. If you happened here by chance, and you’re in the dark, then trust me, it’s the kind of juvenile crap that should have been left behind when we were 12, and even 12-year-olds who are that vindictive over nonsense are considered unstable and immature.
Anyway, I’m not likely to interact much or have a very public presence on AO3, but I help my friend with art textures and occasionally gift him with funny artwork. Life is too dull if you’re serious all the time.
