Bio

I chose my profile name, CognitiveDissident, to express my view of the world. A thinking and questioning approach, challenging authority and orthodoxy, and looking for what Alfred North Whitehead termed a state of continual revolt. I consider myself an outlaw -- different from a criminal but same idea -- which reflects in many of my writings.

I've been a writer since I was a child, have been a professional journalist and a PR and marketing practitioner, and I continue to write both fiction and non-fiction. Some of my writings, especially my erotica, will not be everyone's cup of tea. But for those who can appreciate them, I welcome your thoughts and comments. I don't mind reasoned dissent or criticism, but don't have much patience for asshattery, so let that guide you.
