To my lovely guest commenters, I hate locking my fics just as much as you do, but I’ve had my work copied and posted elsewhere before, and it ruins the experience for me. Fanfiction is a community, etc etc. However, I also adore you guys, so when I update my long fics, I'll unrestrict them for about a week before locking them down again.
I'm happy if you, a human, are inspired by my ideas. Please feel free to use that inspiration! As long as you're not plagiarizing my fics word-for-word or blatantly rewriting them sentence by sentence (though that would be very impressive!), go for it. Stories of mine tagged Abandoned and Discontinued are up for adoption IF you already have at least one new chapter to add. (So no reposting them without actually adding to or "transforming" them.) If you adopt a fic or find yourself inspired to write a similar one, please credit the original fanfic with an Inspired By credit. I would love, love, love to read it!
