Why a spider? No, it's not to torture the arachnophobic, sorry about that if it's an issue for you though... :/ It's cause spider is a storyteller, patron of creative endeavors, weaver of stories, and twister of words. I'm not clever enough to be a trickster and as much as I like the *idea* of tricksters I know I'd find it annoying as hell in real life, but I do like to think I'm a storyteller. :)
