Retired health professional. New MCR fan. I listened to DD in November 2025 after listening to my Teen go on about if for several years. I finally said Eh fuck it, I'll listen to it. Obviously, I fell in love. Then I listened to Black Parade and thought "WTF?" But I was cool and listened a few more times and then GOT IT. Same thing with Revenge. At first I was like, these three albums can't be from the same band. They are so wildly different. Revenge grew on me too. Same thing with Bullets. I'm slow. It takes me a few times to get the point, but I get there. Listening to them backwards was pretty bizarre. The other bizarre thing is that since starting DD in November, there is always a MCR song in my head. And I do mean ALWAYS. My therapist doesn't know what to make of that. Going to Comicon in June as Party Poison. No big surprise there. Black Parade concert in September. I have well and truly lost my marbles.
