Bio

I'm a reader far more than a writer but there was something about The Mentalist that inspired me to put some words on a page.

I love literature across all of the 'brows'. Favourite authors include Orwell, Dostoyevsky, Clive James, PG Wodehouse, Damon Runyon, Jack Vance, Steven Brust, Tolkien, Jane Austen, the Bronte sisters, Umberto Eco and Don Delilo.

Favourite TV shows:

I'm not a big TV watcher but I like shows with good writing and great acting. The Wire, True Detective, Deadwood, Mad Men and Firefly are among my very favourites. I came relatively late to The Mentalist but have since caught on every episode. The show, and especially the Jane/Lisbon dynamic really resonates with me.
