I am a shy writer.

How can you be a shy writer, one might ask. Well, its called having a flash drive full of stories and the inability to force myself to let others read what I've done. But for the last few years, I've been slowly putting my stuff out there for others to read and working to become a better writer.

But I find I have a bit of a problem sometimes when I'm writing. I'm an optimist of a sort. I have problems writing a story from a bad guy's point of view. Sometimes I can write in those 'shades of gray' but yet it's very hard for me to write a bad guy that is more than just a 'holding spot' until I can get the courage up to try and write something from the standpoint of being 'evil and malicious'.

So, to become a better writter and continue to improve myself, I need a beta tester or two that are willing to read my stories, give me feed back and possibly even be willing to help me come up with ideas on creating bad guys or even be willing to write bad guys that will fit in with my stories, willing to allow me to trim, rewrite and alter to some extent to fit my writing style.

I am over 40 years old (not that it matters much) but I'm a child of the 70's and 80's for the most part. I grew up on MacGyver, Airwolf, Misfits of Science, StreetHawke, Knight Rider, High Mountain Rangers and the likes. High tech toys and handsome men (some of whom are as old as my dad -shudder-) But I also like good action adventure movies, TV shows and books. I like the SG1 and SGA series, NCIS, NCIS: LA, Jerimiah, Jerico, Being Human, Lost Girl, Moonlight, Firefly, Serenity, Jason Bourne Series, Riddick Series, Transformers and am currently reading the Harry Dresden series of books. But I also love romances such as Under the Tuscan Sun, A Good Year, Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Sense and Sensibility and Quiet Man.
