What to say...French, female, married, proud mother of two girls (plus another one to come soon) and unfortunate owner of two crazy cats.
What I do for a living: I used to be a chemical engineer after getting a Ph.D in that field, then stopped working temporarily to raise my daughters. And now I aspire to be a teacher, and I'm still working on it.
I am a very avid reader, of almost any genre. At home, I am surrounded by shelves full of books, which threaten to crumble each time I place a new addition to my collection. And that happens quite often. My favorite authors are Marcel Proust, Stephan Zweig, Agatha Christie, Jane Austen, Leon Tolstoi and (before her books became so repetitive) Anne Perry. Eclecticism is my motto.
Reading is my utmost pleasure, hence my presence on fanfiction.net (free stories!). Fluff is my medicine, and I never grow tired of it! Probably because I am a very anxious person by nature...
I like writing fan fiction once in a while, when I am in the mood or when I try to alleviate my frustration of being stuck with one of my non-fanfic works. If my adorable daughters let me take a break, that is...Writing is my drug, but also the source of great anxiety. It took me years to allow someone to actually read my works! Now that I am (sadly) older, and more self-confident, my dream is to get one of my (French) stories published.
