Yours truly may have joined just this year (2021), but I've been at this fanfiction business since 2004. Why have I waited to post to Ao3? The word 'beta' tagged onto this site didn't give me much confidence at first when I first saw it all those years ago when it first came out. Then I honestly forgot about this site for quite a while, running into it every now and then. I was also on MediaMiner (any of you fanfic writers remember that site?) aside from the traditional FFN. I still post the most up to date fanfic works up at FFN, but recently I ran into the Ao3 once again. I wanted to expand my range of readers so here I am, finally!

To those new to my fanfic world, WELCOME! I hope you enjoy my fanfiction. To those returning to read these fanfic works, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. You are never taken for granted.

***WORK PROFILE***
My fanfiction is mainly for Fruits Basket. The original manga/anime that came out around 2001 is where I come from. I do know how it all turned out in the end, but I deviated from canon quite a while back. Unlike the shojo-manga this is based on, I don't write in that style. Shojo is based on a typical troubled boy-meets-perfect girl romcom and all problems are resolved perfectly. That's NOT what my writing is about. I draw out the flaws in the characters,and for the most part, have them in circumstances never explored in the manga. It can get pretty drama-heavy as feelings of despair are explored pretty thoroughly but there's also plenty of laughs and hijinks. All this whilst trying to overcome the curse of the Jyuunishi. Quite the slice-of-life genre I've got here!

Please be kind when reading my early chapters released years ago. It may not have the maturity that I now possess in my writing, but it's still dear to my writer's heart.
