This spot is dedicated to my wonderful mum Katrina, who never gave up on me, encouraged me to follow my dreams and was there for me every step of the way. This is spot is for my dad, who always encouraged my imagination and never questioned where my stories would take me. Together at last.

Hello! I'm the questionably-sane Kanako. I'm in my thirties, a HUGE bookworm and I love writing. Pisces, book-lover, candle sniffer. (Seriously, ask anyone. I am addicted to candles and things that smell nice in general. It's a challenge to get me away from a handmade candle or soap stand!)

Very fond of music, though I have no real genre that I would call my own - and I also can't play anything worth a damn (my characters play for me). Writing is my escape from reality. In the written world, someone else is in charge, and I don't have to stress so much.

I function almost entirely off daydreams, sweet treats, and Asian tv - mostly anime and Korean/Chinese dramas.

I also don't mean it, but in some way shape or form, spiritual themes sneak into my stories when I have no intention of putting them in there in the first place. This doesn't mean I have anything against religion; I am just not particularly religious myself (apparently my subconscious has other ideas). That being said, I respect people's beliefs and their own form of worship in whatever form they come in. Just don't try to press those beliefs on me; please respect me as you wish to be respected.

Hoping you've stayed with me so far, I promise right now that while I have a ton of stories to be updated, I will eventually get around to completing them. No story is EVER going to be abandoned on my account. If it's on hiatus, it does NOT translate to me giving up, it translates to my brain being fried and/or I have been kidnapped by real life. C'est la vi.
