If you are reading my stuff and wondering, "Why is there so much rape in these?" or "Why is the violence so graphic and why is it so sad and descriptive?" It's because I want to bring attention to these issues. Also, I read the All Quiet on the Western Front book and watched all the movies. I want to show the brutality of war and how it's not a game or an adventure.
It's not going to stop me from joining the Marines after I graduate high school (next year) but still. It's the sentiment that counts I guess.
