She/they. 24. I'm not really into writing fanfiction lately. I wanted to write some weird and interesting longform stuff, but I ended up orphaning those and keeping just a couple tame unfinished fics. I may return to write short smut one shots if I'm ever in the mood. Very niche and specific smut that I can't find anywhere else. I love longer fics with less smut and more romance, angst, and fluff, but I just don't have the patience or stamina to write longer stuff.
Much of what I read (or write) has to do with some of my relatively unique characteristics. Namely my pathological shyness (no exaggeration) and my transsexuality. It's hard to find media outside of the vast world of fanfiction, that can really speak to me in those particular areas. The pathological shyness especially is such a pervasive all encompassing aspect of my life. My transness was too for a while. I basically use fanfiction as a simulation for both platonic and non-platonic intimacy since my condition has left me emotionally isolated and socially underdeveloped.
