Bio
A teen of the 80's, with an imagination that even I didn't understand, teased for my 'fantasy world imagination' and writing stories about tv shows and movies and even original works that would amount to nothing realistic.
I continued to write through out college, working-married-adult, and even motherhood. But I kept it a deep secret. My hidden shame for not ever getting out of my 'fantasy world'.It wasn't until I turned 40 and taught the term 'fanfiction' from a dear sweet 20 year old. Secretly, I looked into it with an anniversary gift from my beloved husband: my own laptop. Finding some others in the fanfiction world has been an incredible gift. There are others out there like me?! I'm not that 'weird' or 'crazy'. My biggest supporters have been my children who told me, "Mom, you have a great imagination! Why do you think we love playing with you?!" And now they are adults still with great imaginations of their own. (I should have bought stock in Lego's and Hasbro to put them through college!!) And the people they enjoy being around, others with fun, charming, encouraging imaginations.
Blossom and grow, my fellow fanfiction friends. Be an encourager to to others, just as you have been to me. {octopus and giant squid hugs to you all}
