If we’re going to remain on a desolate campus in the middle of winter, we should keep in high spirits!” Kaveh was grinning so widely any passerby would have thought he’d managed some sort of breakthrough on one of his honors engineering projects, not simply decided to put up some seasonal wares in their suite.
“So you’re going to spend your measly work study earnings on things that won’t be up for longer than a month” Alhaitham drawled, smirking as he saw Kaveh tense. The light of the Kshahrewar was gorgeous, he couldn’t deny, but the rest of the Academy was clearly mistaken if they couldn’t enjoy Kaveh like this, scowling, those pretty red eyes scrunched in frustration.

With both Alhaitham and Kaveh spending the winter break in the dorms, Kaveh has the brilliant idea to decorate for the holidays. After all, neither of them have ever really celebrated, and it's a great way to stay cheerful at such a quiet time during the years. Unfortunately, for all that the two roommates are getting along, it seems that Alhaitham's sharp tongue is risking the holiday cheer.
