The finish-a-thon is a ficathon, with all the ficathon-like things like deadlines and fellow volunteers to encourage you, but with this ficathon, you write your ''own'' ideas. But since part of the encouragement of a ficathon is writing things for other people, what we do is vote for which story ideas people should write.

This collection is for the Multi-Fandom Lyric Wheel ficathon, based both on various LiveJournal ficathons, and on the original Highlander Lyric Wheel. The idea is that each participant makes a request, and also writes a story fulfilling another participant's request. But in this case, the "requests" are song lyrics -- to write a story which evokes the feel/style/theme/mood of the given song. This is not the dreaded songfic where writers regurgitate a song while their heros sing along. No sir! We is writing proper stories.
