I consider any fiction that hasn't been updated in a year or more to be abandoned/incomplete regardless of what an author claims. There are far too many authors who claim they will never abandon a fiction, but have also left a fiction incomplete or with no updates for a year or more. If you are one of these authors - for shame!
NOTICE: I've deleted all of the collections I previously managed due to the change in coding that AO3 now uses where authors have to 'Opt-In' to being collected. It makes managing and collecting fictions rather untenable. To save myself constant frustration, I simply discontinued using said feature. Sorry to those who where following those collections, hopefully AO3 coders will change that to something better eventually.
