Beyond that, I'm a major sci-fi/fantasy geek, and kind of a dabbler. Listen to/read a bit of this, and bit of that. In terms of sci-fi I'm mainly into the tv show (Stargate: SG1 & Atlantis, Warehouse 13, Firefly, etc.), not majorly into any sci-fi lit. In terms of reading I love paranormal/urban fantasy (Weather Wardens by Rachel Caine, Hollows by Kim Harrison, Nightside by Simon R Green, standalone novels like Neverwhere by Gaiman and Strangewood by Golden).
My love for fairy tales existed long before Once Upon A Time, and is probably a factor in my loving Once in spite of it having some serious flaws at times.
I have ships I prefer and ships I dislike, but I don't tend to ship anything too seriously. I'm pretty open to differing circumstances meaning the same character could be happy with one of any number of people. So me disliking a ship is a more serious commitment than liking one.
