Hello, I am a fanfiction addict, and i'm delighted to be here. I used to write fanfiction myself (posted another fanfic website), but the words ran out nearly 2 decades ago, leaving several stories unfinished (to my eternal shame). The world is a mess these days, though and I feel the need to escape reality through the magic of the internet. So, hey, ho. "cry havoc and let slip the dogs of prose." as it were. A warning to any who might accidentally stumble across this profile among the infinitude of fandoms (highly unlikely, I suspect): I am woefully out of practice (particularly with dialogue), and was never particularly great at plot pacing or arcs (because i make sh*t up as I go along). In my younger days my few readers praised the depths of angst and my ability to create a mood. people seemed divided as to whether i managed to keep the players in character or not. Also, canon pairing have never been my thing. And my stories are full of swearing and often bad sex (not necessarily badly written, I hope, but emotionally devastating, with the wrong person etc.) I cannot say what the me of today may write. I haven't met her yet. Apparently she loves parentheticals though. so that's new.

As this is called an archive, I may end up posting my old stuff (with commentary looking back at it now, since the first few were seriously cringeworthy before I hit my stride.) I wonder if the stuff I'm about to experiment with here is equally cringeworthy. (answer, probably yes).
