Hello! My pronouns are she/her, and you can call me Lin or LinTheMermaid, or whatever else you want (as long as it's not insulting). I am a whump and Hurt/Comfort writer (mostly for Dr. Who and Titans, although I am starting to branch out into different fandoms). If you have a prompt or a scene that you would love to see whumped, let me know! I haven't been doing this very long, but I am excited about starting to do this more regularly! My favorite type of whump/Hurt/Comfort is a character falling asleep in front of other characters, so lots of my stories involve that, but I also write some injuries (and, very rarely, some actual plot (gasp)).
My personal favorite whump works on this site are Distorting Equivalency, by Ranowa (Fullmetal Alchemist), and Close to Home, by Glowstick (The Martian). If you're in either of those fandoms, definitely check those works out!
Also, the work that first introduced me to fanfiction all those years ago when I was a naïve 12-year-old scrolling through Wattpad was Help Me, Mr. Batman, by the marvelous ICanIWill, which is posted on Wattpad and fanfiction.net.
