I began writing fanfiction in 2000. It was hand-penned Star Wars EU fanfic. Not a soul saw it.
In 2001, I discovered Harry Potter. In 2002, I started writing Harry Potter fanfic. You can find some of my work on my LJ, and some of it posted on FictionAlley under the screen name PhoenixSong. Of the HP fanfic, I'm most known for a novel-length Harry/Draco fanfiction called "Eclipse." And yes, I wrote that before the Twilight books came out. :p
And despite being a Star Trek fan since I was a little kid, I hadn't been an active part of the fandom until the Trekkie Revival of 2009, also known as ST:XI. What can I say? I felt like writing.
Lately, I've been busy with original fiction. My first published work is coming out in December, 2014, through Dreamspinner Press. More to come!
