Bio
I'm a classically trained animator who also harbors a not so secret passion for writing. My first attempt at a book was when I was fourteen...it will never be published but the thought was there. I have a rather well documented love for rooting for the bad guys in most movies/books/anime because they're usually far more interesting than the heroes. As such, in writing, I tend to use them as my (anti) heroes and write from their perspective.
I'm currently working on editing my first actual full length novel which hopefully will one day get published and am enjoying a little foray into writing fanfiction as a break while keeping the juices flowing.
I love horror films, action films and intense sci-fi fantasy epics. Anime has been my cruel addiction since I was a child and thought that they were "french cartoons" since they only played on the french channel... don't judge me. I was young and stupid.... very stupid.
My favourite anime is Vision of Escaflowne, sadly, none of my friends share this love so writing alternate stories is my only way of geeking out about this amazing gem of a show. If you haven't seen it, DO SO!! I have cells from the anime and movie, guymelef figures, keychains of Van and Dilandau, doujinshi, soundtracks, wallscrolls... as I said... it's an addiction.
My favourite pairings for Vision of Escaflowne are Dilandau and anyone really, though I prefer the Ryuugekitai, Van, Allen (That was totally a look of thwarted lust in ep 3 and you can't tell me otherwise!) though oddly enough I paired him with Gaddes for my first story. Go fig.Favourite fandoms include: Avatar the Last Airbender, Harry Potter, Vision of Escaflowne, Young Avengers and anything Loki related.
I also have been training in Martial arts for most of my life, currently holding a blackbelt in Goju ryu, a brown in Shotoken and am in my fifth year of Aikijutsu (we don't have belts)
