Bio
I read too much fanfiction (they are just free mini fantasy worlds, fun to imagine in), so I thought I should try writing some. Though I'm a bit puzzled as to why every story seems to have to have romance. Anyway, feel free to be very critical of what I write, as I really have no experience.
My favourite author is easily TheCarnivorousMuffin. Their absurdist stories are bizzarely beautiful.Dreams: being better at maths than I am
Nightmares: AI taking control over everything, biotech seeping into every cell, competing and ever improving. And making androids that seem indistinguishable from humans that could mimic everything from going to work and loving you. And figuring out all the equations of the universe, but in their own invented language that you will never understand.学如逆水行舟,不进则退。Chinese saying = Learning is like sailing against the current. If you don't move forward, you fall behind.
This experiment of writing has started making me wonder a bit about "theories" of writing. Which combinations or balances between description, dialogue and feeling is appropriate for which situation. And applying the concept of "meter" not just to a line of a poem, but to how a sequence of events progress over which topics and at what speed.
Here are a list of sources of things I researched or looked up for each bit of writing (normally only a page or two, so I could try to mimic the style), which is an interesting project in itself. Obviously, I've probably misrepresented many things out of ignorance.
