Bio
I first started writing fan fiction in 2004 when the original The L Word started airing. I later posted one offs or shorts for different fanfic challenges, but the bulk of my writing for this show ended around 2009. By that time I was so disillusioned with the show and the off and on again relationship between Bette and Tina, I just couldn't write their love story any more.
In 2021 I was wandering through the rabbit hole that is YouTube and came across some videos of panels at a convention called Clexacon. I had been paying attention to the queer characters on Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow, and Clexacon was interviewing Caity Lotz, Jen Macallan, and Katrina Law. Then I started to wonder about the name 'Clexacon' and what that stood for. And that was the beginning of me watching The 100, which of course had ended the year before. However, even though I was late to the party, I loved reading about Clexa...which then led to me dusting off my keyboard.
So, here we are in 2025, twenty-one years after I first started writing fanfic. I recently found out that the website that is home for the L Word fan fiction I wrote all those years ago is having difficulties. That led to me deciding to repost some of those stories here. Some will have a happy Bette and Tina ending, and some will not, but I did want to preserve them just in case. After all, that's the whole mission of Archive of Our Own, to preserve old and new fan fiction in all its forms.
Thank you for reading my stories. It means a lot to me that you would take time out of your day to read something I wrote. ❤️
