Bio

To summarize who we are irl, we’re in our thirties, divorced and recently out of a seven year relationship. We’re going into an intense career change that might take up a lot of time unpredictability. We have twelve alters, counting the host personality. Found out about the alters in 2023, turns out most of our writing was messing around with one alter who formerly used the name Arcade but now goes by Isaac. Three of the alters are fictives, which means they are alters derived from fictional characters (it’s not a conscious choice, the brain basically latches on to characters with traits that are in some way relevant.)
In terms of my writing, we plan to eventually go back and finish a lot of the older fics but for the moment, we’re working through four new fics that will be posted eventually. We write primarily to work through emotions with the alters, which is why we have always been writing and why we started writing fan fiction in the first place, we just didn’t know that at the time. Generally every character we’ve liked at any point was once an alter we had or strongly resonated with a specific alter. In our writing, the three fictives and sometimes our other alters will generally be writing all or most characters as a mix of their own personalities and the character they’re playing, so across all our works, there’s a chance the characters may deviate significantly from the canon portrayal of them because they’re being played a bit closer to the alter’s own personality rather than the character’s. We’ll probably post the stories regardless because, for Isaac especially, he’s close enough to Arcade that it should still read as Arcade and in general, we figure we’d rather post them just in case someone would enjoy reading them. William deviates a lot more from some interpretations of Afton, but Afton’s kind of Schodinger’s canon most of the time, so that could be more forgivable, but it’s up to any of you if you want to read or not anyway.
