It's been nearly ten years, give or take since I've taken on fanfiction. A lot has changed in that time. To me, to my writing style, to the world...goodness.
I'm still a huge old school MMPR/Zordon Era Power Ranger fan.
I have a lot of other fandoms I belong to, but I find myself most interested in writing for the MMPR genre. Call it sentimentality, familiarity, fascination, (obsession) whatever. HAHA!
Most of my work is probably rated M. I use profanity, and I like to depict sexuality, though it can be a stressful to write those scenes sometimes. ;) I know this may not be everyone's cup of tea, and I can totally respect that. I'm sorry my author notes before a chapter tend to be vague. I just, don't like to spoil anything right before you're set to read something. So I always put an M rating, to cover my bases.
My preferences for pairings is evident in what I write. I'm a huge Tommy/Kim shipper. Probably always will be. But I'm always up for discovering a new angle I may not have considered. And it's always a great challenge to see if I can put aside my bias.
I made the mistake in my fanfiction past, of writing stories on the fly and then losing my muse and never completing them. So rest assured, I will endeavor to always upload complete stories this time around. Even if the chapters arrive slowly.
I've finally had the courage to begin posting my first story in over ten years. "Everyone Has A Summer". It's a Power Ranger fic. I'm very proud of it. I got a kernel of an idea one day and I'm very grateful that my muse seemed to cooperate with me.
I hope you all enjoy it as well. I tend to wax poetic in my summaries, as I don't like to give too much plot away beforehand. Nevertheless, I hope you take a chance on my writing anyway.
