Welcome to my profile!
I'm more of a reader than I am a writer, I prefer to be reading instead of writing; to be able to immerse myself in a story that I have no way of anticipating what is happening—at least, by my owns means.
To read a story I had no part in writing is to read a world I can experience fresh, for the first time. I can soak in the emotions, the feelings, the hidden messages. It’s always breathtaking, to find a beautiful story, a gem that has just been discovered, and be able to just visualize without any prior knowledge.
(Writing is fun too, but not quite in the same way.)
I will always be on a semi-hiatus, aka I have no updating schedule and will post whenever I can or have the ideas for it.
I don’t start stories trying to appeal to the mass (unless I’m the mass), I start them to appeal to myself. If they appeal to others as well, then that’s amazing! Wonderful, even. I hope to inspire others, but not by writing what I don’t want to write, or something I’m forcing myself to write. I want to write it because I want to, not always because I can or have to.
I’m not looking to be well-known, really. I just hope that people enjoy my work enough to gain momentum and start another story of their own retelling from it.
If a story doesn’t exist, I will promote. I promise at least a couple chapters. But I can’t make the promise that I will finish every work I make. Especially because a lot of will likely be drafts that I hope someone picks up and finishes in their own, unique way.
I’m not too hopeful about this, but I wish that maybe one day someone could turn one of my works into a reaction fic/reaction video (you know, those reactions on YouTube). That’s part of the reason I started writing, and anyone who wants to do so has my permission!
