“What if”
The greatest question ever asked by man
Even if it’s not real, even if it never will be real, imagine a world where it was? Think to yourself all the possibilities, and realize they are endless
This, is my experience when engaging with any media, and it is an experience I wish more people delved into writing. “What if my oc was in this story?” “What if at this turning point this other thing happened?” “What if this character was different all along?” “What if they had someone when they needed it most?” “What if the story wasn’t over?”
While the motivation and time I have to write these “what if”s for both of our enjoyment may be finite, I still intend to use both for the purposes of creation
If only everyone wrote about the what if questions…
What if everyone DID write about the what if questions?
Well if they did perhaps I’d be out of a job… and perhaps I’d also have more reading material. And yet here I am, running out of “what if” fics to read, quite the trifling matter. If we have not explored every single what if, then what are we even doing?
