I never participated in a fandom or read fan fiction until I watched The Untamed in Aug. 2020. I then read MDZS, watched hours of bts footage, joined Tumblr, and found out about Ao3. I enjoy mostly WangXian but also some YiZhan fics, usually but not always focusing on that primary relationship. As an older but apparently very sheltered and naive cishet woman, I have learned a lot (about a lot of things!) from Ao3 writers as I have enjoyed some amazingly well-written, insightful, often profound, always creative and imaginative stories.
