Update, 3/7/2025: Hi! I'm not sure if anyone is going to see this, but I'm going to put it here anyway.
So, for those of you wondering if I ever plan on updating/finishing "Weakness Under Deep Cover and Harrowing Agony" and "Arbitrary Trials," the answer is...it's complicated. I do want to finish both of these fics, but I haven't worked on either of them in a while for a few reasons.
Reason 1: Starting halfway through trial 2 (around Daisuki's release), I kinda stopped enjoying being in the MILGRAM fandom. This was made worse because of other things that happened in 2023 (long story short: 2023 was a terrible year for me), and now that trial 3 has started, half my favorites are dead, and the other half are doing terribly (because my favorites were 010305060710), I'm just...not as interested in MILGRAM as I was in 2022 when I started WUDCaHA. Outside of the two fics I've started posting here and maybe a cute 050607 fic that I've been tossing around in my head since late 2023 (iirc), I don't plan on writing more MILGRAM fics, so I'm sorry if that's what you were here for.
Reason 2: For the majority of 2024, I was in a creative rut and couldn't really get myself to work on writing at all. "Rebuild" only happened because I was *that irritated* that the "Yuma technically betrayed Astral on accident, and now things aren't the same between them" bit got glossed over in Zexal, and I needed to fill in what canon didn't for my own sake.
Reason 3: Since November 2024, I've been more focused on writing my own semi-original TTRPG fanfic based on different PbtA games (Masks, Perfect Draw, and Apocalypse World), and that's been so much fun. It makes me happy to think about my OCs! I'm hoping to eventually post some snippets here, but I don't know when that'll happen.
So...yeah. My MILGRAM fics aren't dead; they're just going to take some more time to finish.
